31st March 2016, the Rector of Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, assoc. prof. Jozef Habánik, PhD., granted the Rector´s Award to university academic staff for the year 2015 in the category of internationally accepted publishing activities recorded in international databases Web of Knowledge and Scopus; young researchers until 35 years with internationally accepted publications; utility models; significant international university project; the most productive team in the frame of the contract research.
Rector´s Award for the significant international project received prof. Dušan Galusek and his team for Horizon 2020 project FunGLASS – Centre for functional and surface-functionalized glasses. Prof. Galusek was also awarded for his internationally accepted publishing activities in the research field Chemistry.
